June 2008 Results

Ladies Stableford, Tuesday 24th June 2008

A perfect sunny day with just a light breeze brought out thirty two ladies to play in this competition, with the ground drying out and the ball running well there were some very good scores. The results were as follows:

Ladies Challenge, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2008.

This competition is played over thirty six holes over two consecutive days. The weather over the weekend made the rounds challenging as it was very windy. Despite this Erika scored a birdie on the 15th hole, the hardest hole on the course. The results were as follows:

Club Championship, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th June 2008.

This year the Club Championship was played over two consecutive days in perfect conditions. Once again the course was in absolutely magnificent condition. Jacket potato lunch was enjoyed by everyone followed by prize giving and photographs. The results were as follows:

Past Lady Captains Lunch, Friday 13th June 2008

Fifteen Past Captains played on a glorious summer day. Gill Lindsley, President of the club joined the group for a very enjoyable lunch followed by prize giving.

June Medal, Sunday 8th and Tuesday 10th June 2008.

Forty one ladies played in this competition, ten on Sunday and thirty one on Tuesday. The course was in excellent condition and the weather beautiful on both days, hence the good scores returned. The results were as follows:
