Jane's Flag, Tuesday 28th July 2009

Thirty eight ladies played for the privilege of moving the flag today, but most of us never saw it as one of the early players Linda Eade took it to the third hole and deservedly had her handicap reduced to 26. Well done. Lesley and Lorna also both reduced their handicaps, Lorna doing so despite a cut in handicap of 5 last week. The formal results were as follows:

What can one say! Excellent play by Lorna with also the lowest gross and her handicap is reduced from 26 to 21. Will she be able to play to new her handicap?

13 Ladies played today in very windy conditions with the odd shower thrown in, making the playing conditions very difficult at times.

July Midweek Stableford, Tuesday 14th July 2009

A great turnout today - thirty seven ladies played today. The weather was a bit mixed but there were some good results, with seven ladies playing to their handicap or less. The results are as follows:

Winners Charity Day 2009

The Wexham Park golf club biennial charity day was held this year on Sunday 5th July 2009. The main beneficiary of this year's fund raising efforts was the Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust. The Trust's aim is to build and fund a children's hospice service in Berkshire.

Di Hitchen Cup, Saturday 4th July 2009

This was a stableford competition played off 7/8ths handicap. Nine ladies played in glorious sunshine. The ball was rolling well giving some good scores. The results were as follows:
