Alma Grey Trophy, 29th January and 1st February 2005
 This texas scramble competition was played over a Saturday and Tuesday, with rain being a factor on both days. On Saturday rain persisted for most of the round, with earlier starters on Tuesday benefiting from drier weather. The winning team played brilliantly and some very good scores were achieved.

A total of 34 ladies played. We collected a total of £50 from the raffle and this is being donated to the Cancer Research UK Charity. Many thanks to all those who donated raffle prizes.

It was wet underfoot when 32 ladies took part on this very cold but sunny day. Even with just 5 clubs, there were some good rounds with birdies.
