Fun Competition - 1-2-3. Tuesday 23rd December 2008Twenty ladies played in this fun competition, the format was stableford. For the first six holes only one score was counted, for the next six holes the best two scores were counted and the last six holes all three scores counted. The results were as follows:

Turkey Trot, Tuesday 9th December 2008
Fifty ladies were sent on their way with a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies served by the Captain on this freezing cold morning.
Putting was a lottery as the greens remained frozen all day, the only advantage being that some people made good use of the ice on the pond on the fifth hole!!!
In the evening fifty nine ladies returned to enjoy a superb dinner provided by Paolo and the kitchen staff. Prizes and were presented later in the evening. The results were as follows:| 1st | Carol Johnson | 26 points OCB |

Christmas Texas Scramble and Lunch, Sunday 7th December 2008
Twenty four ladies took part in the 7 Day Ladies Texas Scramble followed by Christmas Lunch. The weather was sunny but very cold making putting very difficult on frozen greens. The results were as follows:
