December 2007 Results

December Medal (Stableford) Sunday 16th and Tuesday 18th December 2007.

Twenty seven ladies played in this competition, ten on Sunday and seventeen on Tuesday. Both days were pretty chilly to say the least. The results were as follows:

Turkey Trot, Tuesday 11th December 2007

Sixty ladies played on a very cold, crisp and sunny morning. They were sent on their way with a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies. It was particularly nice to welcome nine ladies who attended the Wednesday evening sessions in the summer.

Ladies Christmas Pudding Stakes, Tuesday 4th December 2007.

A large field of fifty ladies played today, the match format was Texas Scramble (Tex Mex version) which is always very popular. The scores were all very close. The results were as follows:

Buckinghamshire Christmas Ladies Open, Monday 3rd December 2007.

Thirteen Wexham Park Ladies entered the Christmas Ladies Open at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club on 3rd December. This is a Stableford Qualifying competition and the conditions were extremely difficult which was reflected in the scores. The CSS was high enough to make the competition reductions only, everyone struggled with the long course which played even longer than normal in the high winds. Despite the conditions everyone enjoyed the day, especially the lunch. There was a large field of about ninety ladies in total and we are very proud that Abi Morgan came second on count back with 35 points. Abi received a Christmas Hamper as her prize.
