Christmas Texas Scramble, Saturday 3rd December 2005

The seven day ladies christmas event was a Texas Scramble with a difference this year as we tried out a new 'Tex/Mex' version of the scramble. In the 'Mexican' variation you must choose a different player's shot from the player that played the previous shot. Two teams played extremely well and were so closely matched the result was decided on the last hole! The results were as follows:

1st  Anne Fairweather, Abi Morgan, Gillian Konrad  39 points ocb
2nd  Maureen O'Reilly, Carolyn Dann, Jan Martin  39 points

christmas lunch We were welcomed with Mulled Wine before the competition from joint ladies captain, Anne Leach.

Afterwards we enjoyed a buffet lunch followed by christmas presents from Santa's surprise sack.
