Match vs Rickmansworth, Thursday 26th May 2005
We played a thoroughly enjoyable game against Rickmansworth, starting off in the rain and finishing in glorious sunshine.
The Rickmansworth team made us very welcome. The games were all very close, ending with Wexham Park winning two, losing one and halving the other.

Merlion Flag Trophy, Tuesday 24th May 2005
23 players participated in the Merlion Trophy Flag Competition on 24 May.
Pat Fullick won by taking the Flag all the way to the 18th hole. Congratulations to Pat.
The Merlion Trophy was donated by Joan Robinson who was Vice-Captain for the Club in 1988. Joan never actually took up her role as Lady Captain as she went to live in Singapore.
Proceeds from this Competition are donated to the Parapet Trust, part of the Windsor Breast Cancer Diagnostic Centre.

Match Wexham Park vs Bird Hills, Thursday 5th May 2005
|
|
We had four teams play four ball better ball, matchplay at Bird Hills. The course was in lovely condition, helped by a sunny, fresh day. All teams had excellent games and everyone entered into the spirit of things. One game was won, two games lost (one on the last putt), the other was all square. We look forward to the return match at Wexham in September.

84 players enjoyed glorious sunshine for Sue Carroll's Captain's Day. First tee off was at 7 a.m. so it was a very welcome sight to be greeted by Sue on the 10th tee with halfway house refreshments.
The wonderful smell of the barbeque wafted across the 18th green as we returned to the Clubhouse for drinks and celebrations - particularly for Geoff Jones who topped the day off by a hole in one on the 17th.
Congratulations Geoff - sorry it was such an expensive round!
Thank you Sue for an excellent day - shame we all had to go back to work the next day!
