Club Championship and Senior Championship, Tuesday 28th June
|
The Club Championship and the Senior Championship were held in perfect weather conditions.
However, the course was extremely dry and subsequently the ball was rolling for considerable longer distances than normal, also taking large bounces - not always in the right direction - but as they say, that's golf!
There were some excellent scorecards. All prizes and trophies will be presented at the AGM on 15th November 2005.

Seven Day Ladies Invitational, Saturday 18th June and Sunday 19th June 2005
|
The seven day ladies competition took place over 36 holes, played on two consecutive days.
These turned out to be the hotest two days of the year so far and so it was a test of stamina as well as golf.
Julie Tyrell was the overall gross winner and retains the trophy for a second year. Carolyn Dann won the handicap competition.

Sylvia McFadden Trophy, Tuesday 7th June 2005
This is a mixed team competition and we welcomed the gentlemen who joined us.
The format is stableford and the man's score counts on every hole and the better score of the two ladies. We had 36 players in total and the winners had 87 points, followed next by 84 points. Harry will hold the trophy for 4 months and then pass on to his team mates for the rest of the year.

Match vs Hazelmere, Thursday 2nd June 2005
We played our first home match against Hazelmere and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Everybody was great fun and the matches were all very close. The course was playing beautifully and the greens were superb. Wexham won one match and lost three matches.
