July Medal, Saturday 15th and Tuesday 18th July 2006
The July medal was played in really difficult conditions. The fairways were rock solid and the greens super quick. Added to this the Ladies had to contend with searing heat in the mid 30s.
Despite this some excellent scores were returned.

Ladies Invitational, Friday 14th July 2006
The annual Ladies Invitational was held on Friday 14th July.
This year thirty eight ladies took part in a pairs stableford competition, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Paolo and his staff.
The weather was glorious, the food superb and even the golf was good with some fantastic scores.
The winners were Collette Palling and her guest Alex McKendrick with a fantastic score of 49 points.

Di Hitchen Cup, Sunday 9th July 2006
The weather started off drizzly and windy and finished warm and sunny.
This competition was a stableford played off seven eigths handicap, which meant that people were playing on unfamiliar handicaps. Despite this there were some excellent scores.

Fun Competition and Supper, 9 Holes - Green Course, Thursday 6th July 2006
Black clouds evaporated and the sun shone for this evening competition. Pimms was served at the start to help everybody on their way.
Teams of three players started from the 1st and 4th tees, with the best two scores on each hole counting towrads the team score. One mulligan per player was allowed any time during the round.
A very enjoyable evening was had by all.
