February Medal, Sunday 19th and Tuesday 21st February 2006

This was also the start of the winter eclectic competition. For the eclectic each player submits a base card and then has ten opportunities to better her score on each hole. Players have until the March medal to enter the eclectic. Thirty five players entered the medal in very cold and windy conditions.

Twenty ladies played in fine, dry but cold weather for prizes including golf holdalls and wine. The results were as follows:

Early morning fog made visibility very difficult and flags couldn't be seen until almost at the green. The fog cleared by 11 a.m. to a clear sunny day. The effect of the fog was reflected in the front nine scores, which were significantly lower than back nine scores. The results were as follows:
