JHB Cup and Shield 2009

The JHB is a National Association of Public and Proprietary Golf Clubs and Courses (NAPGC) annual Ladies Club Team Championship open to teams of four lady golfers, maximum handicaps 36.

At each Zone qualifying competition the team with the lowest aggregate gross score and the team with the lowest aggregate nett score qualifies to play in the National Finals.

At the National Finals, the teams with the lowest aggregate gross and nett scores are awarded the JHB Cup and JHB Shield respectively to hold for one year.

Zone Qualifying Rounds, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2009

Wexham Park were the nett winners of the zone qualifying competition held at Whitewebbs golf course on Saturday 6th June 2009, qualifying for the National finals. The team and scores were as follows:

National Finals, Sunday 26th July 2009

The finals were played at Thornbury Golf Club on 26th July. The course was in excellent condition, despite the wet and windy conditions. Wexham Park finished fourth in the scratch competition and seventh in the nett competition, with the following scores:
