- Water Hazards are defined by yellow stakes. Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes.
- No Penalty
- A ball lying within 2 club lengths of any staked tree or tree under 2 club lengths in height must be lifted and dropped clear, in an equivalent lie if possible, not nearer the hole.
- A ball played on to a putting green or tee other than that of the hole being played must be lifted and dropped clear, but not nearer the hole.
- A ball coming to rest in a tractor mark, rabbit scrape or any part of the watering system, or its own pitch mark through the green may be lifted and dropped within 2 club lengths, not nearer the hole.
- Stones interfering with the playing of a stroke in a bunker may be removed. Should the ball move in consequence, no penalty shall be incurred and the ball shall be replaced.
